GIBBSTOWN'S SMITH COMMITS TO FELICIAN GOLF

RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Former Gloucester County College (GCC) student Jason Smith of Gibbstown has signed an athletic financial aid agreement to continue his golf career at Felician College, Felician head coach Ben DiNallo Jr. announced today.
The 6-foot-3 Smith is a 2006 graduate of Gloucester County Institute of Technology (GCIT), where he was a first-team all-league honoree in the Tri-County Conference meet. He attended GCC for the last two years, and will have two seasons of eligibility for the Golden Falcons. He intends to major in business administration.
Smith was a three-sport first-team All-TCC selection as a senior at GCIT, also earning the honor in soccer and swimming. He was named honorable-mention all-state in soccer.
Felician is a member of NCAA Division II and plays in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The golf program is about to begin its fourth varsity season, and is coming off a 2-10 dual-match record and a 10th-place CACC Tournament finish in 2007-08.
