WILMINGTON, DEL – The Bears men's soccer team hit the road Saturday for a battle in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play and suffered a, 6-0 setback on the pitch. The Wildcats celebrated their homecoming at the Wilmu Athletic Complex and improved to 2-4-2 on the season and, 1-2 in CACC action.
The Bears (1-6, 1-5 CACC) saw Jomar Vizcaino get the start in goal and gave up three goals in each half while picking up 10 saves in the match. Wilmington pressured Vizcaino with 42 shots during the match with 16 of them being on target. The Bloomfield offense only managed 3 shots for the game with 2 of them being on goal.
The Bears look to regroup as they return home for their next CACC opponent on Wednesday at Foley Field. Post University swoops into town on October 4th for a 7:00 pm start time under the lights.
