BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears men's soccer team hosted Post University on Wednesday night and suffered a, 3-0 setback in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match-up. The loss left Bloomfield with a 1-7 overall record and still winless (0-4) in league competition while the Nation's 12th ranked Eagles soared to a perfect, 5-0 mark in conference play and 6-1-2 overall.
The home team struggled on offense, placing just two shots on goal while Post fired off 20 shots on target. Jomar Vizcaino had his sixth start in goal and made ten saves in 90 minutes of work. The Bears keeper saw an own goal in the first two minutes of the game and surrendered another score in the 12th minute of the first half. The visitors put the contest away with a 2nd half goal at the 52:24 minute-mark.
Bloomfield will host another CACC battle Saturday when they welcome Georgian Court University. The Lions visit Foley Field on October 7th for a scheduled 3:30 PM start.
