Franklin Pierce Men's soccer flies over Post in 3-0 victory

Waterbury, CT.- The #1 Franklin Pierce Men's soccer team off to a perfect 3-0 start with a 3-0 win over Post. After the game was rained out yesterday, September 10th, the Raven's took flight early in the first half, when the Eagles committed a foul in the 18-yard box and a penalty kick was awarded, Jeronimo Ferrando Ferri for his second goal of the season. Substituting in during 20th minute Joao Valente makes his presence felt, as he dips a defender and takes the goalkeeper one on one and snips one past for his first goal of the season, assisted by Antonio Lampreia Lima in the 36th minute. Extending the lead against #21 Post to 2-0.

The second half was relatively uneventful, till the 68th minute when Alvaro Rey Mira gets one past the goalkeeper for his first goal of the season. That would end the scoring for the game and marks a 3-0 victory on a 3-0 start of the season.
