Women's Tennis Falls in CACC Championship to Wilmington
WILMINGTON, DE. – The No.2 seed Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis team (13-5) went to Delaware and prepared for a tough matchup in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship game, but ultimately fell 4-1 to No.1 seed Wilmington University of Delaware in Saturday afternoon competition.
WHAT HAPPENED
The Wildcats jumped ahead as they won the second and third doubles matches to take the first point of the day.
Noelle Frenzel would win first singles match to get the score even at 1-1, but Wilmington took the third, fifth, and fourth set to secure the CACC Championship.
