RUTHERFORD, NJ – The Bears volleyball team dropped a, 3-0 match to Felician University on Tuesday evening. The setback was their 2nd straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss and moved them to an 0-3 overall record. The Golden Falcons improved to 3-7 on the year with an even, 1-1 mark in conference play.
Bloomfield fell in the opening set, 25-14 before rallying in set 2 but eventually fell, 25-20. The home team put the match in the win column with a 25-16 third set to complete the sweep.
Esther Dogbe had a strong defensive night at the net, posting five blocks and added six kills for the evening. Amanda Arroyo paced the offense with 13 assists and Sophia Wintinick led the squad with 8 digs followed by Kyomaris Morales' 7 digs.
Bloomfield will now get set for their home opener on Saturday with more CACC action on tap as the University of Bridgeport comes to town. The conference battle in The Den is set for a 12:00pm first serve.
