BLOOMFIELD, NJ – Bloomfield's men's soccer team hosted Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) on Saturday afternoon and dropped a, 3-0 decision in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. The setback left the Bears with a, 1-10 overall record and 0-7 in conference contests. The Lightning improved to 5-7-1 overall and 3-3-1 in CACC play.
Bloomfield registered only two shots on goal for the game while GBC enjoyed 7 shots on target. The home team's keeper, Jomar Vizcaino surrendered one goal in the first half. Vizcaino turned away four shots in 90 minutes of action but the Lightning found two more scores to close out the 2nd half.
The next battle for the Bears will be Wednesday, October 18th when they welcome the University of Bridgeport. The Purple Knights enter Foley Field for an evening showdown under the lights at 7:00 pm.
