Women's Tennis Defeats Wilmington in CACC Action; Sixth Win in A Row
WILMINGTON, DE. - Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis team (8-3, 4-1) goes on the road and defeats the Wilmington University (Del.) Wildcats (4-1, 4-1) for the first time in nearly four years to earn the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win this Tuesday afternoon and keep their winning streak at six in a row.
WHAT HAPPENED
Wilmington jumped ahead as they won the first and third doubles matches to take the point and the lead. Jefferson would respond winning five of the six singles matches, with three matches going to three sets and a tie-breaker for two of them. The Rams won the first, second, third, fifth, and sixth singles to take the victory and jump closer ahead to the lead in the CACC.
