Women's Tennis Wins Seven in a Row; Takes CACC Lead with Victory Against Chestnut Hill

PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis team (9-3, 5-1) went to face the only team to put a blemish in their conference record and walked away with a 4-3 victory over Chestnut Hill to take the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup, giving the Rams their seven straight win and first place in the standings.

WHAT HAPPENED
The doubles matches were very tight, as the Griffins won 6-2 in the third doubles match, but a 6-3 win in the second spot and a 6-4 victory in the first allowed the Rams to take the point advantage heading into singles action.

The singles matches were evenly split, with Jefferson winning the first, second, and third spots while Chestnut Hill the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions. This would mark the seventh win in a row for the Rams, avenging their loss before the winning streak began against the Griffins.
