D'ANDREA AND BURCHAM NAMED CACC RUNNERS OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Shawn D'Andrea of Philadelphia University and Danielle Burcham of Wilmington University have been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Male and Female Runners of the Week. Wilmington's Rodney Rosario and Felician College's Meghan Corless were tabbed Male and Female Rookies of the Week.
D'Andrea, a junior from Blackwood, NJ, placed second at the Cabrini College Invitational by running an 8k time of 26:28.90. He led the Rams to a fourth-place finish. D'Andrea has been named the CACC Male Runner of the Week for five straight weeks.
Rosario, a freshman from Wilmington, DE, finished in third place at the Cabrini Invitational, pacing the course in 26:38.40. Was the second CACC runner to finish the ev ent.
Burcham, a junior from Bel Aire, MD, was the first CACC finisher at the Cabrini Invitational, crossing in third place in 20:00.98.
Corless, a freshman from Middletown, NJ, was the first CACC newcomer to finish at the Cabrini Invitational, placing eighth in 20:32.67. She was the fifth CACC runner overall to finish.
CACC Notes
Felician - Felician moved up from No. 8 to No 7 in last week's USTFCCA Men's East Region ranking. The Golden Falcons then finished ahead of six other CACC teams at the Cabrini Invitational. Sophomore Chris Harvey ran a personal-best 28:01 as the team's No. 6 man. For the women, sophomore Sarah Root ran the fastest 5k of the season for Felician with a 20:22 at Saturday's Cabrini Invitational. The meet was held at the CACC Championship course, Belmont Plateau.
Georgian Court - The Lions have finished in the Top-3 in each of their last five meets. Jennifer Musumeci has been the Lions' top-finisher in three meets this season, including the last two.
Philadelphia - Shawn D'Andrea took second-place overall at the Cabrini Invitational over the weekend, leading his Rams to a fourth-place finish. The Rams will be gearing up for the CACC Championships this coming weekend, held at their home course at Belmont Plateau. The Lady Rams took fourth-place overall this weekend at the Cabrini Invitational. Freshman Gabrielle Dei Tos led the way by finishing 15th overall.
USP - Four of USP's top seven runners and five overall recorded personal record times in Saturday's highly competitive meet. Matt Willard's time of 27:48.05 is the fastest by a USP runner this season and the fifth fastest ever run by a USP runner on the current Belmont course. With their sixth place finish the Devils have now recorded 23 straight regular season top 10 finishes dating back to October 2004. Three of USP's top five women runners set personal records in Saturday's race, including top USP finisher, Beth Crawford, who shaved 67 seconds off her previous best time, set two weeks ago. USP's ninth place finish kept intact a string of 26 consecutive regular season meets with a top ten finish, dating back to the 2004 season.
Wilmington - Freshman Rodney Rosario has now finished as the first runner on the team in 5 of 6 meets this season. Sophomores Paul Riggio and Kevin McLaughlin both set PR's on the Belmont course on Saturday.
