Tigers Break Into Top 5 in Latest Basketball Poll
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (February 12, 2013) - Holy Family (21-2, 15-1 CACC) extended their winning streak to nine games last week with a pair of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victories that catapulted the Tigers into fifth place in the latest USA Today Division II women's basketball ranking released today.
The Tigers began the week with a 72-70 victory over Philadelphia on Wednesday and capped the week with a 66-57 win at Felician on Sunday. With the victory over Philadelphia, Holy Family head coach, Mark Miller picked up his 100th career victory with the Tigers. For his career, Miller is currently 155-43 (.782).
