GCU'S McGRATH SELECTED WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Ryan McGrath of Georgian Court University has been selected Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 19. Dominican College's Aubree Williams was named Rookie of the Week.
McGrath, a sophomore attack from Manasquan, NJ, recorded 10 goals and eight assists in a 3-0 week for the Lions. She tallied five goals and three assists versus Chestnut Hill and added four goals and one assist at Holy Family. McGrath and the Lions are the top seed for the upcoming CACC Women's Lacrosse Tournament, which will be hosted by the Lions on Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26.
Williams, a freshman attack from Great Meadows, NJ, posted nine goals and seven assists in three games last week. She netted four goals and one assist against Wilmington and three goals and five assists versus Holy Family.
Honorable Mention
Michelle O'Hanlon, Philadelphia (So., M, Springfield, PA) - Scored six goals and four assists in three contests. Notched three goals and four assists against Chestnut Hill.
Taylor Peltzer, Philadelphia (Fr., A, Holland, PA) - Tallied seven goals on the week, including four against Holy Family and three against Chestnut Hill.
Jenn James, Holy Family (So., A, Philadelphia, PA) - Scored seven goals and two assists in three games last week.
Devyn Flesch, Georgian Court (Fr., A, Bayville, NJ) - Had four goals in two games last week, with three coming against Wilmington.
CACC Notes
Chestnut Hill - Katie Donovan led the Griffins with seven goals and eight points total this week. She was 2-of-3 on free position attempts and also collected two ground balls, six draws, and forced one turnover. Accounting for half of the Griffins' goals this week, she totaled three goals and an assist in the loss to Philadelphia and then added four more scores in the loss to Georgian Court. Donovan leads the Griffins in scoring with 77 goals, her personal season high. She has also provided 10 assists for 87 points, second best on the team. She is 10-for-24 on free position attempts and has recorded 18 ground balls, 35 draws, and 13 caused turnovers. She has now totaled 264 career goals.
Philadelphia - Philadelphia's only loss of the week came from #1
nationally-ranked Adelphi, as PhilaU picked up two CACC wins over
Chestnut Hill and Holy Family. The team is 7-2 in the conference
and has just two regular-season games left this week before heading
into postseason play.
