CACC Men's Track and Field Weekly Honorees (4-30-24)
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Chris Crossen (Goldey-Beacom) - Crossen won the Steeplechase at the WCU Last Chance Invitational with a time of 10:54.75. This is the fifth best time in the CACC this season.
TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Kimani Smith (Holy Family) - Smith was a part of the 4x400 relay team that won gold its flight at the Penn Relays with a time of 3:20.76. He was also a member of the Sprint Medley team that broke a Holy Family school record with a time of 3:34.02.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Nishorn Pierre (Holy Family) - Pierre had two NCAA DII Provisional jumps in the triple jump and high jump at the Penn Relays. He won bronze in the triple jump with a distance of 48-3 feet and finished fifth in the high jump with a height of 6-9 feet. Pierre has the best high jump in the CACC this season, and the second-best triple jump.
FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Isaiah Davenport (Holy Family) - Davenport moved into second overall in the CACC in the High Jump at the Penn Relays with a height of 6-7 feet.
Donte Dockery (Goldey-Beacom) - Dockery finished seventh in the triple jump at the Penn Relays with a distance of 47-4 feet. Dockery currently holds the third best triple jump distance in the CACC this season which was an NCAA DII Provisional Mark.
