CACC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honorees (4-29-24)
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dylan Heald (Post) - Heald tallied 16 points with 11 goals and five assists in two wins for the Eagles. He also had seven ground balls and four caused turnovers. Six goals and four assists came against Caldwell in their last regular season game. Then in the First Round of the CACC Championship against Bridgeport he scored five goals and got his other assist of the week.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
James Bienia (Holy Family) - Bienia had two goals, four assists and added a team-high five ground balls in Holy Family’s final game of the season against Dominican.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jaxon Holden (Post) - In two wins for Post, Holden had 19 ground balls total. Seventeen (17) of his 19 ground balls came against Caldwell.
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Julius Sorino (Chestnut Hill) - Sorino tied his career high with 17 saves in a win against Bridgeport; saving 73 percent of the shots he faced. His save percentage for the season is 62.7 percent and his GAA is 7.21, both of which are second best in DII.
HONOR ROLL
Noah Hammon (Chestnut Hill) - In a win over Bridgeport, hescored three goals and had four assists.
Jabes Escalante (Felician) - Had three goals and an assist against Georgian Court.
Brett Bridges (Georgian Court) - Scored seven goals and added an assist in a win over Felician.
Miles Crouse (Wilmington) - Crouse had nine points, five goals, four assists in a win over Molloy.
