Bio

Danielle Ciresi Murphy was a sensational scoring threat for the Cougars during her career, as she is the program leader with 2,491 career points. She averaged 31.7 points per game during the 1990-91 season to lead NAIA Division II in scoring, as that year she was also named the CACC Co-Player of the Year and earned honorable-mention All-America status. Ciresi Murphy led all New Jersey women's baskeball players in scoring during her junior and senior seasons, and when she graduated from Caldwell, her career point total at the time was the fourth most all-time among women's college basketball players in the state of New Jersey. She was inducted into the Caldwell Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010 as part of the school's inaugural class.
