Bio
Dan Bailey was a standout basketball player and coach for Nyack College, as the program achieved incredible success during his stints as a student-athlete and bench boss. The all-time leading scorer in Nyack men's basketball history (2,345 points), Bailey was a three-time All-CACC honoree, a two-time National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American, an NAIA Honorable-Mention All-American and a four-time NCCAA All-District 31 honoree. After his stellar playing career, Bailey returned to the Nyack bench, this time as the program's head coach. He totaled a program-record 178 wins and led the Warriors to the 2000 CACC Championship. Bailey led Nyack to a pair of NAIA National Tournament appearances during the 1994-95 and 1999-00 seasons. Bailey's dedication was not limited to Nyack College, as he also served an integral role in the conference, as he served as the President of the CACC Directors Council from 1999-01, as the league was transitioning from the NAIA to the NCAA.
