DELUCCA, CORREIA, BIDDLE EARN TOP CACC WOMEN'S SOCCER HONORS

NEW HAVEN - Caldwell College sophomore forward Brook Delucca has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) womens soccer Player of the Year in balloting released today. Dominican freshman forward Angela Correia has been voted as the CACC Rookie of the Year, and Holy Family head coach Mike Biddle has earned Coach of the Year honors.

Delucca, a Nutley, NJ native, ranks third in the CACC in points (27), points per-game (1.50), goals (10) and assists (7). Delucca helped lead the Cougars to a 8-7-3 overall record this season and a 6-3-2 mark in conference play. Caldwell is the second seed in this weeks CACC Tournament.

Correia, who hails from Elizabeth, NJ, is tied for sixth in the conference in points with 20 and she is fourth in points per-game with 1.43. Furthermore, she stands eighth with seven goals scored and is tied for fifth with six assists.

Biddle, who is in his second season as head coach of the Tigers, led Holy Family to a 10-0-1 conference record and the top seed in this weeks CACC Tournament. The Tigers went 11-7-2 overall.

Georgian Court University won the conferences annual Team Sportsmanship Award.

The complete All-CACC team is below. Holy Family and Caldwell each led the conference with three first team picks. With two players on the second team, the Tigers had a conference-high five players selected, while the Cougars were next with four.
