CACC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honorees (4-22-24)
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Madelyn Grella (Dominican) - Grella had 12 goals and three assists for the week as Dominican went 1-1 and secured the top seed in next week’s CACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship. First against Mercy she had four goals and an assist. Then in the win over Georgian Court, she scored eight and assisted twice.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Amber McGee (Post) - McGee scored seven goals for Post in their lone game of the week against Jefferson.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lynn Hardy (Jefferson) - Hardy played a massive role, defensively, as Jefferson went 2-0 for the week. She totaled five ground balls, seven caused turnovers and 14 draw controls. Against Post she had six draw controls and caused two turnovers. Then versus Bridgeport she has eight draw controls and caused five turnovers.
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Kalyn Ammerlaan (Jefferson) - Ammerlaan made 26 saves with a goals against average of 11.25 as Jefferson went 2-0 for the week. Sixteen of her saves came against Post and 10 were against Jefferson.
HONOR ROLL
Ellie Lefton (Jefferson) - Had six goals on eight total shots and 10 assists in a 2-0 week for Jefferson.
Remi Reinhardt (Georgian Court) - Logged six goals, three assists nine ground balls, 26 ground controls and five caused turnovers in a 1-1 week for the Lions.
Mary Gazaleh (Felician) - Scored four goals and had five draw controls over two games for Felician.
Rianna Shields (Holy Family) - Scored 10 goals in Holy Family’s win over Caldwell.
Max McDermott (Bridgeport) - Scored six goals in Bridgeport’s two games last week.
Riley Regan (Chestnut HIll) - Scored four goals including the game winner against Caldwell.
