Eleven Student-Athletes Named to 2019-20 CACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 26, 2020) -- Eleven (11) student-athletes on Thursday were named to the 2019-20 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 11 honorees represented nine teams that compete in the sport in the CACC.
Thomas Jefferson University and Wilmington University led the way with a pair of honorees apiece. The Rams were represented by 2019-20 CACC Player of the Year Kylan Guerra (3.57 GPA, Management) and All-CACC performer Josh Bradanese (3.57, Management). WilmU featured Danny Sullivan (3.65, Business) and Alvin West (3.52, Health Sciences).
Caldwell University's Daan Vianen led all honorees with a 3.93 cumulative grade point average in his major psychology. He was one of four three-time honorees on the list joining Bradanese, Milos Djeric (Georgian Court University) and Junior Graham (Nyack College).
Seven of the 11 individuals were named to the CACC All-Academic Team for at least the second time in their respective careers.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athletes must meet the following criteria: a) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term; b) minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution; and d) student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is an NCAA Division II Conference composed of 14 institutions in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The member institutions are Bloomfield College, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Concordia (N.Y.) College, Dominican (N.Y.) College, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Nyack College, Post University of Waterbury, Thomas Jefferson University, University of the Sciences, and Wilmington University.
