CACC Announces 2022-23 Team GPA Award Winners
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (August 7, 2023) -- Eight schools combined to capture 17 honors that were handed out Monday, as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced its 2022-23 Team GPA Award winners for the recently completed athletic season (2022-23). The announcement was made by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara, as Thomas Jefferson University and Post University each led the way with four team GPA awards apiece.
University of Bridgeport, Chestnut Hill College and Wilmington University each took home a pair of team GPA awards, while Alliance University, Felician University and Holy Family University each capture one honor.
The CACC Team GPA Awards are given out each year to recognize the school with the highest team-wide GPA in each of the conference's 17 championship sports.

To be eligible for the awards, a team must have met NCAA sport sponsorship standards for the 2022-23 season. The CACC had 164 teams across all 17 sports this past season that met NCAA sponsorship standards. Of those 164 squads, 130 posted team-wide GPAs of 3.0 or higher for a success rate of 79 percent. Below are more notes on team GPAs from each of the 13 member schools for the 2022-23 season.
