Felician's Tsouhnikas Brothers Enter Local Boys & Girls Club of Clifton's Alumni Hall of Fame

RUTHERFORD, N.J. (January 30, 2015) – Brothers Barry Tsouhnikas, 23, and Anthony Tsouhnikas, 22, of Clifton, both former Felician College student-athletes, were recently inducted into the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton's Alumni Hall of Fame. The men were two of 14 honorees at BGC-Clifton's Eighth Annual Alumni Gala on Nov. 21, 2014.
Mackey Retires as Dominican Men's Golf Coach

Orangeburg, N.Y. (7/1/14) Dominican College Director of Athletics, Joseph S. Clinton, has announced that men's golf coach, Wayne Mackey, has decided to retire from coaching. Mackey has been at the helm of the Charger golf program for the past eight seasons.

155 Student-Athletes Named to CACC Spring All-Academic Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) introduced its All-Academic Team for the 2014 Spring athletic season today. A total of 155 student-athletes from the 14 conference schools across six different sports have earned a place on the list, which is 34 more than in 2013. The 154 Spring student-athletes represents a record number of all-academic team honorees since the conference began sponsoring the program in 2004-2005.

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Jordan Tackett is far from the first two-sport student-athlete at Felician College – there have been several in Felician's 18-year history of intercollegiate athletics. He is not the first Golden Falcon to participate in his particular combination of offerings – baseball and golf – and he is not even the first to compete in both sports during the same spring.
Wilmington Leads Way on Day One of CACC Men's Golf Championship; Baldo Individual Leader

BLUE BELL, Pa. – Wilmington University takes the first round lead of the 2014 CACC Men’s Golf Championship by posting a combined score of 301. Andrew Baldo paced the Wildcats and took the individual lead with a one-over-par 72. Completing the top four were Nyack College (320), Concordia College (322) and Philadelphia University (340). The top-four teams from day one will occupy the last grouping to tee off tomorrow. The championship tournament is hosted by Chestnut Hill College at Blue Bell Country Club.

Post Golf Named GCAA Academic National Champion For Second Consecutive Year

NORMAN, Okla. – For the second-consecutive season, the Post University golf team was named the 2013 Division II Academic National Champion by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Post becomes the first two-time champion in Division II since the GCAA started the award in 2009.

NORMAN, Okla. – Rising senior Patrick McRae (Markham, Ontario, Canada) of Goldey-Beacom College has been named as a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar, it has been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level and participate in 50 per cent of his team's competitive round or compete in the NCAA Championships.
Harry Jennings Earns Wilmington's First East Region Coach of the Year Honor

NORMAN, Okla. - - For the first time in the NCAA era for the Wilmington University Athletics Department, Harry Jennings earned the status of East Region Coach of the Year as awarded by the Golf Coaches Association of America in conjunction with the Eaton Corporation last week. In addition, six coaches were announced the six outstanding collegiate golf coaches receiving the Dave Williams Award presented by Eaton Golf Pride as national coaches of the year. Jennings was also nominated for the Division II Dave Williams Award for his effort and leadership through the 2012-13 season.
