Women's Tennis Takes CACC Win Over Dominican
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University (4-3) hosted Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Dominican University (N.Y.) (0-2) and was able to take a 5-2 win over the Chargers in Friday afternoon competition.
WHAT HAPPENED
Dominican took the first doubles match, but
Charly Egger and
Manni Zhang won the second doubles. 7-5 while
Stanislava Norets and
Rose Huang earned the victory in the third doubles 6-1 to give the Rams the point.
In singles action, the Chargers won the first and second singles matches to be ahead 2-1. However, Jefferson won the last four singles matchups that propelled them to a 5-2 victory in conference action.
