BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears men's soccer team hosted the University of Bridgeport (UB) on Wednesday night and fell, 5-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match-up. The loss dropped Bloomfield to, 1-11 overall record and 0-8 in conference contests. The Purple Knights improved to 6-5-3 overall and 5-2-1 in CACC play.
Bloomfield recorded five shots on goal for the night while UB enjoyed 22 shots on net. The home team's keeper, Jomar Vizcaino turned away a career-high sixteen shots in 90 minutes of action. The visitors also enjoyed an, 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Next up for the Bears, they travel to Holy University on Saturday for another CACC battle. The October 21st match is set for a 4:30 pm start on the Tigers home field in Philadelphia.
