(6-16, 1-1) on Sunday in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. The Rams took game one 9-5 but fell to the Chargers 13-8 as Dominican had eight runs in the eighth inning of the second game.

WHAT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: W, 9-5

Marquise Wood attributed one of his two runs in the first game as he made it to homeplate off of a Matt Vita strike out throw to first base to put Jefferson up 1-0. Dominican scored two runs in the bottom of the second, both to third base, that gave the Chargers a 2-1 advantage. Jefferson responded with three runs in the fourth and get back up front 4-2. Wood helped the scoring attack again with one of his three RBI's in this inning as he hit a sacrifice fly to get Chris McLean a run. Vita connected with a double to earn another score by Josh Lopez while he made it to homeplate from Alexander Angulo single up the middle, getting it to 4-2 after four innings.

The Chargers added two more runs, tying the game up 4-4. Wood added two more runs for Jefferson as he hit a homerun to center field for a 6-4 lead in the sixth. McLean brought Jordan Tiburcio home with a single, getting a run himself by way of Jo. Lopez two-run homerun, getting the Rams a 9-4 lead after the top of the seventh. Dominican added one run in the bottom of the seven from a double play. A flyout to right field ended the first game in favor of Jefferson.

GAME TWO: L, 13-8

A run in the third for Lou Spadafora off of Vita's single to right field in the fourth inning to make the Chargers' lead to 5-3. After holding Dominican scoreless in the fourth inning, Jefferson added three runs to be ahead of the Chargers 6-5. Wood's double got McLean home, Joshua Lopez sacrifice bunt brought Jo. Lopez to homeplate, and Angulo's double had Wood earn a run of his own as the Rams cameback and were now up in the game.
