Women's Tennis Suffers First Loss to Adelphi
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis (1-1) went on the road, where they fell in a close matchup to Adelphi University (1-0) in non-conference action this Wednesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After a forfeit gave Jefferson their first points on the day, the Panthers would respond by taking both doubles matches, putting Adelphi up 2-1.
In singles competition, Charly Egger was able to take the third singles in both sets 6-1, 6-2 while Rose Huang won her fifth singles 6-2, 6-4. Adelphi was able to take the first, second, and fourth singles that helped them edge the Rams 4-3.
