PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – In their second CACC doubleheader of the weekend, the University of Bridgeport's baseball team was defeated twice at Holy Family (14-5, 16-5) on Sunday.
UB's afternoon was highlighted by four home runs provided by the offense.
Jeremy Rodrigues and Anthony Matturro homered in the first game while Anthony Pascale and Christian Ortiz went yard in the finale.
Rodrigues has now launched 10 home runs this season (2nd in the CACC) and a program-record 16 for his career. He is batting .360 this spring with 26 RBIs (both team highs).
Rodrigues had two hits in the first contest on Sunday while Pascale had two hits in the second game.
