Holy Family Women’s Basketball Back in Top 10
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 30, 2013) - For the second time this season, the Holy Family women's basketball team has earned a top 10 ranking in the USA Today Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll released today. The appearance marks the Tiger's ninth straight top 25 ranking in the poll.
The Tigers (18-2, 12-1), currently ranked eighth, earned their sixth straight victory after defeating Wilmington on Tuesday. Holy Family also picked up an 86-53 victory at South Division rival Chestnut Hill last Wednesday and a 68-46 win against Bloomfield. Senior standout, Erin Mann (West Chester, Pa.) became the third player in Tiger program history to score at least 1,600 points and record 800 rebounds in a career.
