Holy Family Women’s Basketball Ranked in USA Today Top 25
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 29, 2012) - Holy Family University (4-1, 2-0) maintained its hold on the 14th slot in the USA Today's Top 25 women's basketball poll. This marks the third consecutive poll the Tigers have been ranked.
After finishing last season unranked with a 26-8 record and dropping their season opener at 2nd ranked Bentley University, Holy Family has strung together 5 victories in its last 5 games. Head coach, Mark Miller's teams' recent success saw the Tigers earn victories over Wilmington University (94-72), at Saint Thomas Aquinas College (54-35) and at Georgian-Court University (75-60).
Currently, the Tigers own the best record in the CACC's South Division and will return to action on December 1 at Dominican College (4-3, 2-0) with a 1pm tip.
