NATE WARE RESIGNS AS USP WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH

PHILADELPHIA, PA - University of the Sciences in Philadelphia Director of Athletics, Bob Morgan, announced the resignation of Nate Ware as Head Women's Basketball Coach, effective immediately.
After eight seasons as head coach of the women's program, Ware cites personal reasons in leading to his decision to leave the program. He will continue to assist with the cross country programs at USP.
Ware leaves the program as its all-time winningest coach, having guided the team to the CACC playoffs in each of his eight seasons, winning the CACC Championship and a berth in the NCAA Division II national tournament in 2004 and 2006. Ware had a record of 137-92 in his eight seasons at USP. In his 27 years coaching both men's and women's college basketball, Ware has amassed 467 wins against 354 losses, a 56.9 winning percentage. Coupled with his high school coaching record, Ware has over 530 wins in his long distinguished career which has spanned over three decades.
