New NABC/Division II Men’s Basketball Poll Released
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 15, 2013) - After making an appearance in last week's poll in the "others receiving votes" category, Dominican College (13-2, 7-0) broke into the top 25 in the latest NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll released today. The 25th place ranking is the program's first-ever appearance in the top 25 poll as an NCAA Division II institution.
The Chargers broke into the "Top 25" rankings after posting a 1-0 record last week that featured a 65-55 victory over Concordia College. Dominican is one of only three teams from the East Region to be ranked and is the lone team from the CACC currently appearing in the poll.
The NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll is conducted by 16 members of the NABC, two representing each of the eight NCAA Divisions II regions.
