CACC Women's Track & Field Weekly Honorees (4-2-24)
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Imani Fitzpatrick (Felician) - At the Ramapo College Invitational, Fitzpatrick won the 400m with the top CACC time of the season in the event (58.77). She also finished second in the 200m with the top CACC time of 25 seconds.
Annalee Capuano (Jefferson) - Capuano set top marks in the conference in both the 800m and 1500m at the Danny Curran Invitational. She won the 800m with a time of 2:19.59, then finished second in the 1500 breaking a Jefferson school record with a time of 4:41.01.
TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Natalie McFadden (Jefferson) - Broke school record in the 3000m steeplechase in her first time running the event with a CACC Qualifying Standard time of 12:06.65 at the Danny Curan Invitational.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jada Carroll (Felician) - Carroll had CACC Qualifying Standard jumps in the long, high and triple jumps this weekend at the Ramapo College Invitational. In the long jump, Carroll had the second longest jump in the CACC with a 17-3 foot jump. In the high jump, she posted the third best jump in the CACC with a height of 4-5 feet. And in the triple jump, she had the furthest jump in the conference with a jump of 38 feet.
FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Chiamaka Wokocha (Georgian Court) - Posted CACC qualifying standard marks in the javelin, hammer throw and discus at the Monmouth University Track & Field Season Opener. In the Javelin she threw 96-7 which is the fifth best mark in the conference. In the hammer she threw 123-7 feet, and in the discus, she threw it 120-10 which is second best in the conference.
HONOR ROLL
Kenisha Greenwood (Holy Family) - Won the 400m hurdles at the Danny Curran Invitational with the fastest time in the CACC this season of 1:02.87.
Temi Mustapha (Wilmington) - At the Towson Invitational, ran a Wilmington record in the 100m in a time of 12.25. Fastest time in the conference this season.
Sydonia Turner (Holy Family) - Turner posted the top mark in the long jump in the CACC this season, with a Holy Family school record of 17-5 at the Curran Invitational.
Sheridan Martinez (Georgian Court) - Won the javelin at the Monmouth University Track & Field Season Opener with a throw of 127-8 feet against several DI competitors.
