CACC Women's Track & Field Weekly Honorees (4-23-24)
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Imani Fitzpatrick (Felician) - Fitzpatrick set a new school record in the 400m with a first place time of 58.51 at the All-American meet which meets the CACC standard and is second best in the conference this season.
TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Aarysa Moore (Felician) - Moore won her first outdoor collegiate event at the All-American meet, winning the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.54 which meets the CACC standard. She owns the best freshman time in this event in the CACC this season.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Talia Ferguson (Felician) - At the All-American meet, Ferguson won both the long and triple jump. Her long jump of 18-1 feet is the best in the conference this season. Then in the triple jump she set a school record with a jump of 36-4 feet.
FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ava Reardon (Georgian Court) - Met the CACC standard in the Javelin at the Shippensburg Mid-Week Invitational with a distance of 124 feet which is the third best in the conference and is the best by a Freshman this year.
Honor Roll:
Gabriella Lopez (Caldwell) - Lopez won the 3000m at the Shippensburg Mid-Week Invitational with a time of 15:34.24
Danalee Brock (Holy Family) - At the Paul Donahue Invitational she met the CACC standard in both the 200m and 400m with times of 26.31 and 1:00.35 respectively. Brock was also part of the 4x100 team that finished third and ran the fastest time in the CACC this season
Korryn Braxton-Young (Holy Family) - Braxton-Young finished second in both of her events at the Paul Donahue Invitational. She broke a school record in the Hammer with a throw of 133 feet which meets the CACC standard and is second in the CACC. Then in the shot put threw for 41-5 feet
