CACC Softball Weekly Honorees (3-25-24)
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ashleigh Tavaska (Caldwell) - In six games for Caldwell, Tavaska was 16-for-25 with four doubles, a triple and four home runs. She had 24 RBI and scored 10 runs as Caldwell went 5-1.
Sara Miller (Wilmington) - In a perfect 8-0 week for the Wildcats, Miller went 11-22 with three doubles, a triple, four home runs, 20 RBI, four stolen bases as well as scoring 10 runs.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Delani Sheehan (Wilmington) - Sheehan won in each of her five appearances in the circle for Wilmington. Over 23.2 innings of work she allowed only five earns runs for an ERA of 1.48.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Taylor Quinn (Caldwell) - Over six games for Caldwell, Quinn had 12 hits in 23 at bats. She had eight RBi while scoring four runs of her own.
HONOR ROLL
Katie O'Connor (Caldwell) - Allowed only six runs in 19.1 innings pitched. Had three wins and three starts and five appearances. Allowed only six earned runs while striking out 15.
Abigail O'Shields (Goldey-Beacom) - In only eight innings of work, O’Shields allowed only one hit and struck out 17 batters
Lily Tomasiello (Post) - Went 7-17 at the plate with five RBI
Bryn Bohmann (Goldey-Beacom) - Went 2-4 with an RBI and earned two walks last week
Alexis Velotta (Felician) - Was 5-10 with three RBI over four games
Meg McFarland (Bridgeport) - Went 9-21 at the plate with four doubles, a home run and 10 RBI
Liily Hoban (Holy Family) - Was 6-18 with four RBI over six games
Adriana Mungo (Georgian Court) - Went 6-13 at the plate with 2 RBI over four games
Jocelyn Moody (Bloomfield) - Hit .313 over five games with two home runs and nine RBI and also had two stolen bases
