CACC Softball Weekly Honorees (3-18-24)
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kaitlyn Stufft (Georgian Court) - Stufft went 11-18 on the week with two home runs and nine RBI over six games in a 5-1 week for the Lions. She had three doubles, drew five walks, while posting a .611 batting average, .696 on-base percentage and a 1.111 slugging percentage.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Abigail O'Shields (Goldey-Beacom) - O’Shields won all three of her starts going all the way in each game. She only allowed 12 hits and three runs (only 2 earned) over four total appearances while striking out 33 batters. She went 23 innings and yielded just one walk. Overall, she had a 0.61 earned run average for the week.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Taylor Quinn (Caldwell) - Quinn was 12-for-32 with six RBI while scoring eight runs over 10 games for Caldwell. She also had three stolen bases. Quinn smacked a trio of doubles and posted a .962 fielding percentage.
HONOR ROLL
Riley Williams (Felician) - Struck out 40 batters over seven appearances for Felician. Also pitched the first ever perfect game in Felician softball history.
Gianna DeLorenzo (Jefferson) - Won all three of her starts, going the distance each time and allowing only one run.
Autumn Simpson (Goldey-Beacom) - Went 9-for-17 at the plate and drove in five runs
Rozalee Negron (Jefferson) - Went 10-for-23 at the plate. Stole two bases and scored six runs
Ashleigh Tavaska (Caldwell) - 15-for-34 with three doubles, two triples and a pair of home runs. Had 12 RBI and scored nine runs.
Mikayla Brown (Felician) - Went 12-for-26 with three doubles last week
Sierra Albritton (Bloomfield) - Knocked in four runs and also stole four bases while coming around to score five runs
Tristyn Stewart (Wilmington) - Collected five hits, scored a pair of runs, stole a base and drove in a run for the Wildcats
