Concordia #1 Seed in NCAA Division II East Region Men's Tennis Tournament; CHC Earns #4 Seed

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (May 8, 2019) -- Concordia College earned the No. 1 seed in the 2019 NCAA Division II East Region Men's Tennis Tournament, as announced on Wednesday by the national organization. In addition to Concordia, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) will also be represented in the regional tournament by Chestnut Hill College, which claimed the fourth seed. The regional tournament will be held May 11-12.
Concordia will await the winner of the first-round match between fourth-seeded Chestnut Hill and fifth-seeded Bentley, as that contest will be held on May 11. The next day on the 12th will see the Clippers facing the winner.
The winner of the second round contest will advance to the NCAA's final 16 team in late May.
