Philadelphia. Pa. - The sixth-ranked Concordia College men's tennis team captured their fifth straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship on Sunday afternoon after defeating Chestnut Hill College 5-0 at the CHC Tennis Courts. The Clippers came in to the tournament as the No. 1 seed while the Griffins were the No. 2 seed in the tournament.
Concordia began with a 3-0 sweep in doubles play as the No. 1 duo of senior Daniele Piludu (Cagliari, Italy) and junior Benas Majauskas (Vilnius, Lithuania) took an 8-1 victory over Yoann Pham and Pedro Oranges as did the No. 3 duo of senior Ricardo Frey (Curitiba, Brazil) and sophomore Rafael Ferreira (Sao Paulo, Brazil) over Michael Humes and Manuel Ceniceros.
