CACC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honorees (3-4-24)
Player of the Week:
Dewey Schoenfelder (Bridgeport) - In a 2-0 week for Bridgeport, Schoenfelder had six goals and seven assists for 13 points as well as eight ground balls collected. In the win over STAC, he had four goals and assists each along with five ground balls. Then against D’Youville he had two goals and three assists.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ryan Thomas (Bridgeport) - Thomas had five ground balls collected along with six turnovers in a 2-0 week for Bridgeport. Against STAC he had three ground balls and caused turnovers each, then against D’Youville he had two ground balls collected and forced three turnovers.
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Peter Nazario (Bridgeport) - Nazario recorded two wins over the week. Nazario made 21 saves, saving 55.3% of shots faced.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Bryce Thomas (Holy Family) - Bryce Thomas was the goalie for Holy Family as the Tigers recorded their first win in program history. Holy Family went 1-1 during the week as Thomas had 10 ground balls collected, caused four turnovers, and had 37 saves saving 60.7% of the shots he faced.
