CACC Baseball Weekly Honorees (3-18-24)
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Braden Kolmansberger (Goldey-Beacom) - Kolmansberger batted .429 (9-21) on the week with two doubles, two home runs and 12 RBI. One of his home runs was a three-run shot and the other was a grand slam as the Lightning went 5-1 during the week.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Samuel Bass (Jefferson) - In a winning performance over Franklin Pierce, Bass pitched a complete game allowing only 4 hits and three runs while striking out 12 over the regionally-ranked Ravens.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Michael Pascoe (Chestnut Hill) - Struck out nine in a complete game start against Lincoln. He also hit .381, going 8-for-21, with eight RBI while also scoring eight runs and stealing four bases.
HONOR ROLL
Brendan Palmer (Bridgeport) - In a complete game win over Mercy, Palmer allowed only four hits while striking out five batters. He yielded just one run in the win.
Jimmy Brennan (Post) - Was 5-for-12 with six RBI in four games
Chris McClean (Jefferson) - Over five games, McClean went 8-for-17, and had three RBI and scored four times
Justin Geiger (Chestnut Hill) - Hit .500, 10-for-20, with four RBI and scoring five runs. Geiger drew six walks and stole five bases.
Zach Morales (Holy Family) - Went 7-for-14 with seven RBI and scoring five runs over four games
Haiden Walters (Felician) - Scored seven runs over four games, while knocking in four runs
Sean Brown (Caldwell) - Went 6-for-11 with a triple and a double and drove in two runs last week
Justin Leigh (Bridgeport) - Leigh was 6-for-15 (.400) with three walks and four runs scored last week
Davin Keddell-Tuckey (Dominican) - Went 10-for-24 with four RBI and four runs scored over seven games
Chase Fleming (Wilmington) - Was 6-for-9 with a pair of doubles and 4 RBI. Also started a game on the mound and allowed no runs and struck out three in three innings.
