OILERS WIN SEESAW BATTLE OVER LADY CHARGERS

Following the loss, the Lady Chargers fall to 6-6 overall on the season while the Oilers improve to 4-6 on the year.
Guard Alexis Suarez (Poughquag, N.Y.) led three Lady Chargers in double figures with 18 points (8-15 from the floor), while adding seven rebounds, a season high six steals and five assists.
Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) netted 15 points and seven boards and Samantha McClutchy (Washington Township, N.J.) delivered the game's only double-double with 12 points and 12 caroms.
Lauren Hapgood led the Oilers with 14 points off the bench.
DC was able to take advantage of 25 Oiler turnovers and convert them into 31 points and outscored their opponents, 36-26 in the paint. Dominican also held the 44-40 advantage on the glass.
UF used the foul line to their advantage by going 22-33 from the stripe, while the Lady Chargers went 8-15.
The Oilers led by as many as 10 points late in the first quarter, but DC would rally to cut the deficit to a single point (36-35) at the break. The Lady Chargers opened the third quarter with an 8-1 run to claim their biggest lead, 43-37 with 7:35 left in the period.
Dominican will be off until December 30th when they welcome non-conference opponent, Southern New Hampshire University to Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
