The Lady Chargers improved to 10-10 (5-5 CACC) after the win.
DC was led by Tanasha Mills (New City, N.Y.) who finished the game with a career high 20 points and six assists. Mills added three buckets from beyond the arc. Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) scored 19 points including five three pointers. Latimer also added five rebounds and four assists.
Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) finished with a double-double by scoring 15 points and added 10 rebounds. Alexis Suarez (Poughquag, N.Y.) and Olivia Levy (Stony Point, N.Y.) each scored nine points while Jaid Harrell (Kingston, N.Y.) finished with eight points and seven rebounds.
Dominican finished the game shooting 46.5% from the field. The Lady Chargers got off to a strong start in the opening quarter by scoring 27 points.
DC never looked back the rest of the way as they held a 49-33 lead by halftime and extended to their largest lead of the game in the third quarter which was 29.
The Lady Chargers led the whole game on their way to their 10th win of the season.
For the Golden Falcons, Briana Lee led the way with 21 points, nine rebounds, five steals, and three assists. Uzor Uchidiuno added 14 points and nine rebounds while Katelyn Andres finished with 13 points and Niaimani Marshall scored 11 points.
The Lady Chargers will return home this Thursday, February 3rd when they host Post University at 5:30 PM.
