LADY CHARGERS FALL TO NYACK COLLEGE ON SENIOR DAY

The Lady Chargers finish the regular season with a record of 14-13 (9-8 CACC)
Prior to the game, the Lady Chargers celebrated Senior Day by honoring their five seniors. Naabea-Janaan Assibey-Bonsu (Central Islip, N.Y), Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.), Jaid Harrell (Kingston, N.Y.), Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.), and Samantha McClutchy (Washington Township, N.J.) were all recognized for the pregame ceremony.
The Lady Chargers were led by Harrell who finished the game with 12 points and added nine rebounds. Olivia Levy (Stony Point, N.Y.) added 11 points and five rebounds off of the bench.
Latimer led the team in rebounds with 12 and assists with seven while also adding seven points. Tomlinson added eight points, two rebounds, and two assists.
The Lady Chargers opened the game on an 18-4 run and finished the first quarter with a 28-17 lead. Harrell and Latimer combined for 13 points in the opening quarter.
The Warriors played a strong second quarter as they held DC to eight points and cut the DC lead to 36-31 by halftime.
Nyack used a 13-7 run in the third quarter to jump out in front of DC. DC held a 47-46 lead at the start of the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, the Warriors used a 15-2 run to extend to their largest lead of the game over DC which was 12 points. Nyack held onto the lead down the stretch and secured the 61-54 win.
The Warriors were led by Sarah Wilson who scored 20 points to lead all scorers. Angelina DiMarisco finished with 12 points. DiMarisco and Wilson each hit four three-pointers. Carly Bolivar added 11 points.
The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Tuesday, March 1st when they play the CACC Championship Quarterfinals. The location and opponent will be determined at a later time.
