WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley softball team returns to the field with a run of 10 games in six days at The Spring Games in Winter Haven, Fla.

The Falcons will be making their second trek to Florida after they opened the season in Longwood at the Panther Invitational with six games on the weekend of Feb. 9.

The trip gets started on Sunday with a pair of games against Caldwell (10:00 AM) and Slippery Rock (12:30 PM). On Monday they face Shepherd (10:00 AM) and St. Thomas Aquinas (12:30 PM). Tuesday sees the Falcons square off against Indiana (Pa.) (10:00 AM) and Bloomfield (3:15 PM).

After a day off on Wednesday, they close out the trip with games on Thursday against D'Youville (10:00 AM) and Purdue Northwest (3:00 PM) and Friday against Northern State (9:00 AM) and Pitt.-Johnstown (11:30 AM).

The opening set of games saw senior outfielder Kylee Amato post a .400 on-base percentage and a .294 batting average in 17 at bats. Freshman Hailey Feiler went 4-9 with five walks for a .643 on-base.

In the circle, grad student Riley Piromalli started three times and went the distance in two of them. Payton Doiron started twice, Taylor O'Brien once and freshman Breelin McDougal made her NCAA debut with two appearances.
