With the win, Dominican improves to 3-8 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
Junior Nicholas D'Alessandro (Levittown, N.Y.) picked up his 100th career point with 4:43 left in the first quarter as he dished out an assist to Daniel Carson (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) to give the Chargers a 5-0 lead.
DC continued on the run with the first four scores of the second quarter to extend the lead to 9-0 and they went into the intermission with a 10-2 lead.
D'Alessandro had five points in the first half with three goals and two assists.
The Chargers outscored the Golden Falcons 3-1 in the third quarter and 3-2 in the final period for the 16-5 win.
D'Alessandro led the Charger offense with four goals and three assists.
Freshman attacker Luke Martini (Abington, Mass.) and Ryan Fischer (Monroe, N.Y.) tallied three goals each, with Fischer adding an assist.
Shaun Palmer (Massapequa, N.Y.), Marcos Pierce (Middleburg, Va.) and Carson all had two scores, while Pierce had two assists and Carson had one.
Starting goalie Patrick Gifford (Galloway, N.J.) had three saves in 45 minutes, while John Rooney (Bellmore, N.Y.) made five saves in the final 15 minutes of action.
Dominican will host the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
