WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PICKS UP THIRD STRAIGHT VICTORY OVER CLIPPERS
Bronxville, N.Y. (1/15/20) The Dominican College women's basketball team won their third straight game this evening after besting host, Concordia College, 59-55, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.

With the win, Dominican improves to 7-9 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
Concordia held the slight 20-19 edge at the end of one quarter of play and used a 16-5 run in the second to jump ahead 36-24 at the intermission.
Heading into the final quarter, the Clippers led 47-41 but the Lady Chargers opened with a 12-4 run to pull in front 53-52. A Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) layup put DC ahead for good, 55-54, with a little over a minute to play and they held on for the 59-55 win.
Junior Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) led four Lady Chargers in double figures with 13 points.
Tomlinson finished with a career high 19 rebounds, four blocks, two steals and 11 points. Junior Korina Guerra (White Plains, N.Y.) also netted 11 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three blocks, while Ashley Merritt (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) had 11 points and four assists.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they host Thomas Jefferson University in the 10th Annual Sue Heller Memorial Game. The game will also be streamed nationall on the NCAA Division 2 Facebook and Twitter pages.
