With the win Dominican improves to 9-10 overall and 4-5 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play, while GBC falls to 7-11 overall and 2-8 in the CACC.
At halftime of the contest, the Annual Sue Heller Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Elle Nittinger (Waverly, N.Y.).
The Lady Charger offense shot well from the three-point arc, going 8-14 (57.1%) and finished 14-17 (82.4%) from the charity stripe. For the contest, DC shot 30-63 (47.6%) from the floor.
Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) led all scorers with 20 points and five rebounds.
Graduate student Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) netted 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Alexis Suarez (Poughquag, N.Y.) added 15 points, five assists and three steals.
Jaid Harrell (Kingston, N.Y.) pulled down six rebounds and Tanasha Mills (New City, N.Y.) recorded five assists in the win.
GBC were led by Alexis Harrison with 14 points, while Briana Seltzer netted 12 points and Lexi Weikert score 10 points.
The biggest lead of the game for the Dominican came with 5:33 left in the fourth quarter as a layup by Latimer gave them the 76-51 victory.
Dominican returns to action on Tuesday evening when they travel to CACC North Division foe, Felician University.
