DOMINICAN DOWNS COUGARS

(11/20/19) Sophomore Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) netted a season high 21 points and added seven rebounds as the Dominican College Lady Chargers downed the visiting Cougars of Caldwell University, 72-40, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.

With the win, Dominican improves to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in CACC play.
Tomlinson finished the game shooting 10-15 from the floor in leading DC to the victory.
Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) scored eight points and six rebounds, while Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J. ) and Samantha McClutchy (Washing Township, N.J.) both netted eight points and five rebounds a piece.
Sophomore Naabea-Janaan Assibey-Bonsu (Central Islip, N.Y.) also had eight points, five rebounds and four steals in the victory.
Dominican scored 20 points in the second quarter to turn an 18-10 advantage into a 38-17 lead at the intermission. DC added 19 more in the third and 14 in the final quater for the final 70-42 score.
The Lady Charger out rebounded their counterparts, 51-39 in bring home the win.
DC will host Molloy College in a non-conference game on Sunday, December 1st.
