NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 30, 2019) -- Wilmington University standout Rosa'Lynn Burton on Tuesday was named the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball Player of the Year, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. In addition to being named the league's top player, Burton was also named to the All-CACC First Team as an outfielder. Degenhardt was tabbed the CACC Coach of the Year after leading the Lions to the regular season championship with a 23-3 conference record and a 42-7 overall record. GCU will enter this week's CACC Championship as the No. 1 seed, as the tournament will be held on the Georgian Court campus in Lakewood, N.J.
