PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Bloomfield College men's basketball team defeated Dominican tonight, 70-64, to earn its third consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Championship at Bobby Morgan Arena on the USP campus. With the win, the Deacons (22-9) received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament. The field for the event will be announced Sunday evening.

Senior guard Daniel Terrell spearheaded the Deacon attack tonight with 31 points and seven rebounds. Terrell, who was named the tournament Most Valuable Player at the conclusion of the game, went 11-for-17 from the field and 2-for-4 from 3-point range. For the tournament, Terrell averaged 25.3 points per-game. However, Dominican went on a 5-0 run mid-way through the second stanza to tie the game, 53-53, on a 3-pointer by guard Richard Fegins. Bloomfield responded and went on a 9-0 run over a span of 4:23 to take a 62-53 lead with 4:06 on the clock. Dabney and Terrell started the spurt, as Dabney converted a jumper and a lay-up, followed by a Terrell triple, in a span of just over a minute.
