The Eagles improved to 5-2 in their last seven CACC contests by cruising to a convincing 3-0 win over Bloomfield.
Post led in all major categories, including: Kills (41), Aces (9), Blocks (8), Assists (41) and Digs (55).
Mike Brienza received a balanced effort across the board from his team. Madison Hunziker (12), Sarah Seger (9) and Ashley Levatino (8) lead the team in kills, while Shannon Veale, Hunziker and Seger each tallied two aces to lead the team. Levantino stood out in the block category, racking up 5, while teammates Seger (2) and Rylie Arms (1) also contributed in the blocking category. Digs were solid across the board again, with Suzy Boulay (13), Seger (12) and Veale (11) all contributing.
Brianna Root played a solid game as Setter, compiling 38 assists, 10 digs and one ace.
CACC Facts:
- The Eagles now sit in sole possession of 2nd place in their half of the league, trailing Nyack by one game in the win column. Post is set to play Nyack Tuesday, October 23rd in Drubner at 7 p.m.
- Levantino now sits in 2nd place in the CACC with 0.97 blocks per set
- Hunziker moved into 4th place in the CACC with 3.42 kills per set after her strong performance today vs Bloomfield
