WILMINGTON, DEL – The Bloomfield College women's basketball team notched their fourth Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory in five games Saturday after a, 59-53 decision over Goldey-Beacom College. The Bears improved to 6-2 in league play and 6-9 overall while the Lightning dropped to 5-12 overall and 3-5 in conference games.

Zhane Robinson (Newark, NJ) who collected 29 points and a season-high, 19 rebounds.
Kiamsha Bynes (Piscataway, NJ) joined her classmate in double-figures with 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting from the field.
Bloomfield saw Robinson score their first seven points of the opening quarter. The visitors opened up a, 15-11 advantage by the end of the first quarter and the reigning CACC Player of the Week registered 11 of them. Goldey-Beacom failed to gain any ground in the second quarter and found themselves down, 27-23 heading into the halftime break.
The Lightning came out of the locker room inspired and scored the first two buckets of the third to draw even at 27 but Robinson answered with four points of her own to put the Bears back in control. The visitors extended to a, 40-33 lead heading into the final frame and closed out the contest at the free throw line as Robinson sunk three straight to ice the game.
The Bears return home to host Post University on Tuesday evening. The Eagles enter The Den for a 5:30 pm tip-off and their second crack at Bloomfield after a 69-49 CACC loss back on December 5, 2017.
